Bookkeeper (NetSuite)

Full-Time | On-site  

  • We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented  Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day accounting operations and support our upcoming NetSuite implementation. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable owning the books independently and enjoys improving processes and systems.

    You will be the primary accounting resource for the company, working closely with leadership and external partners to ensure accurate financials, strong internal controls, and a smooth transition to our new ERP system.

  • Daily & Monthly Accounting

    • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including A/P, A/R, vendor management, and collections

    • Perform daily transaction entry, bank and credit card reconciliations

    • Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely financial data

    • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments

    • Assist with month-end close and prepare internal financial reports

    • Support annual audits and tax preparation activities

    NetSuite Implementation & Systems Support

    • Work directly with implementation consultants to ensure accurate configuration

    • Assist with data cleanup, migration, mapping, and validation

    • Test workflows, user permissions, and accounting processes in NetSuite

    • Help document new standard operating procedures (SOPs)

    • Provide support and feedback to optimize NetSuite post-go-live

    Process Improvement & Compliance

    • Improve accounting workflows as we transition to new systems

    • Maintain documentation of accounting policies

    • Ensure accounting compliance, proper record-keeping, and internal controls

  • Required:

    • 3–5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

    • Strong understanding of GAAP-level bookkeeping, month-end close, and reconciliations

    • Experience with NetSuite or another ERP (NetSuite preferred)

    • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

    • High attention to detail and organizational skills

    Preferred:

    • Experience in a company undergoing an ERP implementation

    • Prior roles as a full-charge bookkeeper or senior accountant

    • Manufacturing Industry experience a HUGE PLUS

    • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
