Welder/ Fabricator

The Welder / Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating, welding, repairing, modifying, and installing components used in industrial and vacuum furnace systems. This is a physically demanding position requiring the ability to work with metal, tools, equipment, and machinery in a shop and field environment.
The ideal candidate has strong welding and fabrication skills, understands how to read drawings and measurements, and is comfortable traveling to customer sites to perform installations, repairs, and field service work.
Experience in the heat-treating, furnace, aerospace, or industrial manufacturing industries is highly preferred, but not required.

Perform MIG, TIG, and/or other welding processes as required.
Fabricate metal components and assemblies from drawings, measurements, and specifications.
Cut, fit, grind, drill, bend, and prepare materials for fabrication and welding.
Repair and modify industrial furnace components and equipment.
Assist with the fabrication and assembly of vacuum furnace hot zones and related equipment.
Perform field installations, repairs, maintenance, and equipment modifications at customer facilities.
Travel to customer locations throughout the United States as needed.
Safely operate shop equipment, hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, and fabrication machinery.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
Maintain accurate measurements and ensure fabricated components meet specifications.
Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality and accuracy.
Work safely around industrial equipment, high temperatures, heavy components, and various materials.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Work independently as well as with other technicians, fabricators, and management.
Perform other fabrication and field-service duties as needed.

Welding experience is required.
Fabrication experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Ability to read measurements, drawings, and basic fabrication plans.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Willingness and ability to travel for customer projects.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, standing, bending, climbing, and working in industrial environments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
